J.K. Rowling has supported the work of Gingerbread (originally known as ‘One Parent Families’), since the year 2000.
Starting as an ambassador for their work – they provide advice, practical support and campaign to highlight the needs of lone parents and their children – in 2007 she took an honorary position as President of the charity.
Gingerbread has over 90 years’ experience, providing advice and practical support for single parents.
